GIG launches sports betting platform
The 2018 World Cup is here! It has been epic and full of surprises so far, and many believe it will be one of the best World Cups to date. It has also inspired the creation and launch of the most advanced sports betting platform of the last decade, according to reviewers and analysts.
18 Months in Development
The latest sports betting platform by Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has been in development for the past 18 months, according to developers. A lot of work has gone into its development and it utilizes the latest betting software technology.
GIG’s goal is to provide the best user experience to both sports betting operators and their clients. The platform has been described as ultra-responsive and highly flexible enough to overcome most of the challenges plaguing other sports betting platforms. It is also scalable to support and accommodate future development and data-driven for the convenience of external operators and their clients.
Introducing 3 New Dynamic Models
This new sports betting platform by GIG plans to offer a range of proprietary unique markets, including keeping “never suspended” markets, such as the tournament winner, open. It also introduces three new models. These new models are dynamic in the sense that they can be used as stand-alone models or bundled together with the GIG Core suite. GIG Core is the latest version of the former iGaming Cloud by GIG). These new modules are:
- GIG Sports Connect
The GIG Sports Connect module has been designed to give external operators the freedom to approach the market in any way they desire, including the freedom to choose and set their desired odds for any event imaginable. This module comes with several services. The two most outstanding ones are an aggregated odds service and proprietary in-house odds data service.
- GIG Trader
The GIG Trader module is a suite of the most advanced and state-of-the-art proprietary risk management and trading tools. These tools are designed to boost user experience by making it easier to analyze and place bets with minimal risk and good chances of rewards. They also increase the platform’s overall responsiveness and increase the performance of individual operators’ platforms.
- GIG Goal
One of the secrets behind this platform’s responsiveness is its ability to learn about users’ behaviors and preferences. The GIG Goal module comes with an integrated machine-learning application that is capable of learning and personalizing users’ portals. This module is also the first mobile-based front-end and middle-ware solution.
Opening to External Operators Soon
The new sports betting platform by GIG is already in operation; it has been rolled out on GIG’s Rizk Casino brand. GIG’s clients can access the platform, place bets, and utilize all the advanced tools it offers.
This platform will also soon be available to external operators that meet the set requirements. Thanks to advanced coding and development, the sports betting platform is capable of hosting multiple operators simultaneously without any complications. The platform utilizes a multitenant system. This system is implemented using a microservices architecture that manages all applications on individual operators’ platforms. It also utilizes the actor model to handle incoming messages for each external operator. The actor model handles millions of messages in a concurrent fashion while guaranteeing the linear scalability needed to guarantee that future demands and development will be supported.
Endre Nesset, the director of Sports at Gaming Innovation Group, promises that external operators have a lot of advantages to get from the new sports betting platform. He especially promises that the platform’s advanced features will offer an unmatched competitive edge during this hectic sports betting season and long after the World Cup is over.
